Support the Band
When we resumed rehearsals in 2021 following government-imposed CoVid lockdowns, we were forced to move to a new rehearsal space, and lost access to all the band room percussion instrumentation we previously enjoyed. As a result, we have begun the gradual and expensive process of reconstituting our percussion instruments and public address equipment, and donations to the band largely go to these purposes. Donations also support our music library, permitting the purchase and maintenance of concert band arrangements of both classical and contemporary music. While our library is extensive, it is always in need of new, contemporary music. Full concert band arrangements can cost upwards of $200.00 each!
To make a 100% tax-deductible contribution to the Marion County Citizens Band, contact the band's business manager here. We don't have an online service to process contributions - that costs us a portion of your donation in processing fees. Instead, we'll provide a written receipt to you after receiving your generous support donation.
None of the band's musicians are compensated. We rehearse and perform for the pleasure and joy of making music for our audiences.
